REFUND + EXCHANGE POLICY
Because of the time and effort it takes to create each piece, unfortunately there are no refunds or exchanges permitted, with the exception of damaged packages. If you are truly unhappy with your purchase, please send me an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If your package is lost, please contact the courier company with the tracking number provided with your order. Top Knot Design is not responsible for lost packages once they have been sent. If a package is returned to me because of an incorrect address, or lack of claim on the part of the purchaser, a refund will not be issued. Purchaser will be held responsible to repay shipping costs before the item ships out again.
DOES MY CUSHION COVER COME WITH AN INNER?
No, but check the store to see if we have the inner size you need.
WHAT SIZE INNER WILL FIT IN MY COVER?
We recommend feather/fine fiber inners that are roughly 5cm bigger than your cushion cover to get the best look.

HOW LONG DOES EACH TAPESTRY TAKE TO MAKE?
There are a number of stages that go into creating each piece right from the workshop where our wood is custom made and stained, to the prepping, soaking and hand dying of each fiber strand. After rinsing, the wool is hung to dry overnight and once we’re happy with the results of the dye, it’s secured in place and given its final trim. This process can takes days and sometimes weeks to complete.
WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
Each piece is created using hundreds of strands of locally sourced 100% Merino wool that is hand dyed and suspended from a custom piece of stained Meranti wood.
Our 100% Merino wool is manufactured by a local South African company whose aim is to provide a sustainable, affordable and superior quality product. From farm to store, each and every process is handled with the utmost of care, to ensure the fibers are treated delicately and with the respect that they deserve.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY TAPESTRY?
We recommend removing it from the wall and gently swaying it from side to side to remove any dust particles. Avoid using cleaning products or saturating the wool.
HOW DO I HANG MY TAPESTRY?
Hanging our fiber art is very simple – all the hardware you need comes with your tapestry, just mark and drill holes for the anchors provided, screw the hardware in place and rest the tapestry on top. Stand back and admire. VOILA!
THE TAPESTRY I WANTED IS SOLD, CAN YOU MAKE ANOTHER ONE?
Our Fiber Art Collection features unique handmade tapestries that are one-of-a-kind. Due to the handmade nature of these pieces and the way the dye reacts to the fiber, exact replication is impossible. Our online store will be updated with new pieces regularly, but if you have your eye on something don’t wait to order – when it’s gone, it’s gone!
